We are Adherence, a specialty manufacturing consulting company enabling businesses to understand the transition from conventional adhesives to sustainable adhesives.
At Adherence, we’re designing solutions that focus on the carbon in the adhesives. We carefully select solutions that are designed to break down in managed compost, farmland soils, and wastewater infrastructure. The carbon in the adhesives are converted to CO2 by microorganisms that feed on the adhesive as a food source.
Our primary mission is to deliver sustainable adhesive solutions. The packaging used in our modern world must safely deliver affordable food products while also maintaining sustainable packaging goals. We all are aware of plastic pollution, the health risks of microplastics, and the benefits of clean ecosystems.
Allowing our customers to stay in compliance with the evolving packaging regulation landscape, we offer consulting services related to compostable packaging design with bio-based and home compostable adhesive solutions.
